Hotel Domani

Lodging Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the lodging services provided by Hotel Domani, located in Progreso, Yucatán, Mexico, as well as the conditions applicable to reservations made directly with the hotel or through authorized third parties.

By making a reservation, submitting a payment or entering the premises of Hotel Domani, the guest declares that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

  1. 1. Reservations

    1. 1.1.

      All reservations are subject to availability and must include the guest information required, such as full name, contact details, dates of stay, number of guests and, where applicable, payment information.

    2. 1.2.

      A reservation is deemed confirmed once the hotel has received the corresponding payment, deposit or guarantee, or when the booking channel used expressly states that the reservation is confirmed.

    3. 1.3.

      Rates, promotions, discounts and booking conditions may vary depending on the channel used, the season, the room category, the dates of stay and availability.

    4. 1.4.

      The specific conditions displayed at the time of booking shall prevail over any general condition that is incompatible with them.

    5. 1.5.

      Hotel Domani reserves the right to request valid official identification at check-in.

  2. 2. Rates and payments

    1. 2.1.

      All rates are quoted in Mexican pesos (MXN).

    2. 2.2.

      Rates may be subject to the taxes and charges applicable under current legislation.

    3. 2.3.

      The guest must pay the full amount of their reservation in accordance with the conditions established at the time of purchase.

    4. 2.4.

      Hotel Domani accepts the payment methods that are available and communicated to the guest at the time of booking.

    5. 2.5.

      Where a reservation requires advance payment, failure to pay within the established term may result in the cancellation of the reservation.

    6. 2.6.

      Should additional charges arise during the stay, they must be settled before check-out.

  3. 3. Check-in and check-out

    1. 3.1.

      Standard check-in time is from 3:00 p.m.

    2. 3.2.

      Standard check-out time is until 12:00 p.m.

    3. 3.3.

      Early access to the room or departure after the established time are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

    4. 3.4.

      Early check-in and late check-out are not guaranteed unless previously confirmed by the hotel.

    5. 3.5.

      The guest must present valid official identification at check-in.

    6. 3.6.

      Where the reservation was made in another person’s name, Hotel Domani may request additional information or authorization before allowing check-in.

  4. 4. Room occupancy

    1. 4.1.

      The maximum occupancy of each room depends on the category booked and on the capacity stated at the time of booking.

    2. 4.2.

      Exceeding the room’s authorized maximum capacity is not permitted.

    3. 4.3.

      Additional guests must be authorized in advance by the front desk and may incur additional charges.

    4. 4.4.

      Minors must remain under the supervision and responsibility of their parents, guardians or the adults in charge throughout the stay.

  5. 5. Changes and cancellations

    1. 5.1.

      Cancellation and modification policies depend on the rate, promotion and channel through which the reservation was made.

    2. 5.2.

      Reservations with a flexible rate may be modified or canceled within the term established in the particular conditions of the reservation, without prejudice to any applicable restrictions.

    3. 5.3.

      Promotional, non-refundable rates or rates subject to special conditions may carry particular restrictions on changes, cancellations and refunds.

    4. 5.4.

      Modification requests are subject to availability and to the applicable rate conditions.

    5. 5.5.

      Reservations made through external platforms are additionally subject to that platform’s modification and cancellation policies.

  6. 6. No-show

    1. 6.1.

      A no-show occurs when the guest fails to arrive on the scheduled check-in date without a valid cancellation or modification of the reservation.

    2. 6.2.

      The financial consequences of a no-show depend on the rate and cancellation conditions applicable to the reservation.

  7. 7. Early departure

    1. 7.1.

      Should the guest decide to leave the hotel before the date originally booked, they must notify the front desk.

    2. 7.2.

      Any refund of unused nights is subject to the conditions of the rate booked and to the corresponding cancellation policy.

  8. 8. Refunds

    1. 8.1.

      Where a refund applies, it will be issued through the corresponding mechanism and payment method, in accordance with the conditions of the reservation and the hotel’s administrative procedures.

    2. 8.2.

      The time it takes for a refund to appear may depend on the bank, payment processor or platform involved.

    3. 8.3.

      Hotel Domani is not responsible for third-party processing times once the refund has been duly instructed.

  9. 9. Invoicing

    1. 9.1.

      Guests who require an invoice must provide their tax details correctly and request it within the term established by the applicable regulations and by the hotel’s procedures.

    2. 9.2.

      The details provided by the guest must be complete and correct. Hotel Domani is not responsible for errors arising from incorrect tax information supplied by the customer.

    3. 9.3.

      Invoicing requests are subject to the tax requirements in force.

  10. 10. Guest responsibility

    1. 10.1.

      The guest is responsible for the proper use of the room, the facilities, the furniture, the equipment and any other property provided by Hotel Domani.

    2. 10.2.

      Any damage, loss or deterioration caused intentionally or through negligence by the guest, their companions or their visitors may be charged to the person responsible.

    3. 10.3.

      The guest must immediately inform the front desk of any fault, damage or situation that may affect the safety or operation of the facilities.

    4. 10.4.

      The guest is responsible for behaving respectfully towards other guests and hotel staff.

  11. 11. Loss of or damage to belongings

    1. 11.1.

      Hotel Domani is not responsible for personal belongings left unattended in common areas.

    2. 11.2.

      Guests are advised to keep their valuables secure and to use the security measures available.

    3. 11.3.

      Should an item be lost, the guest must report it to the front desk immediately so that the corresponding search and record procedure can begin.

    4. 11.4.

      Items found on the premises are handled in accordance with the hotel’s internal lost-property procedure.

  12. 12. Visitors

    1. 12.1.

      Access for people who are not part of the reservation is subject to Hotel Domani’s security and occupancy policies.

    2. 12.2.

      Visitors must register at the front desk when asked to do so.

    3. 12.3.

      The guest who authorizes a visitor’s entry is responsible for that visitor’s behavior and for any damage they cause.

    4. 12.4.

      Hotel Domani may restrict visitor access where there is a reasonable ground related to safety, capacity, the peace of other guests or compliance with these conditions.

  13. 13. Conduct and shared spaces

    1. 13.1.

      Hotel Domani seeks to provide a comfortable, safe and respectful environment for all of its guests.

    2. 13.2.

      Activities that significantly disturb the peace of other guests are not permitted.

    3. 13.3.

      Violent conduct, threats, intentional damage, unlawful activities and any behavior that puts guests, staff or the facilities at risk are prohibited.

    4. 13.4.

      In the event of a serious breach, Hotel Domani may ask the guest to leave the premises, without prejudice to any legal action that may apply.

  14. 14. Smoking

    1. 14.1.

      Smoking is prohibited in indoor areas and rooms where the applicable regulations and the hotel’s internal policies so provide.

    2. 14.2.

      Failure to comply may result in charges for cleaning, odor removal or smoke-related damage.

  15. 15. Pets

    1. 15.1.

      Pet access is subject to the hotel’s policy in force and to the specific conditions of the room or reservation.

    2. 15.2.

      Where pets are allowed, the guest is responsible for any damage, mess or disturbance they cause.

    3. 15.3.

      Hotel Domani may set restrictions on the size, number or type of pet allowed.

  16. 16. Safety

    1. 16.1.

      The guest must observe the safety instructions given by hotel staff.

    2. 16.2.

      Tampering with, blocking or altering equipment, installations or devices intended for the safety of the building is not permitted.

    3. 16.3.

      In an emergency, the guest must follow staff instructions and use the corresponding evacuation routes.

  17. 17. Hotel facilities

    1. 17.1.

      Access to certain areas, services or facilities may be subject to opening hours, availability, maintenance, weather conditions or safety reasons.

    2. 17.2.

      Hotel Domani may carry out maintenance, repair or improvement work on its facilities, seeking to keep disruption to guests to a minimum.

    3. 17.3.

      The availability of certain facilities or services may change temporarily without this necessarily constituting a breach of the lodging service.

  18. 18. Third-party services

    1. 18.1.

      Hotel Domani may provide information or facilitate contact with external providers of transport, tours, restaurants, activities or other services.

    2. 18.2.

      Where the service is contracted directly with a third party, the contractual relationship is between the guest and that provider.

    3. 18.3.

      Hotel Domani is not responsible for modifications, cancellations, delays, damage or breaches directly attributable to independent providers.

  19. 19. Personal data protection

    1. 19.1.

      The personal data provided by the guest is processed in accordance with Hotel Domani’s Privacy Notice and the applicable Mexican personal data protection legislation.

    2. 19.2.

      The hotel may use the data provided to manage reservations, deliver the services contracted, carry out administrative processes, issue tax receipts, communicate with the guest and comply with legal obligations.

    3. 19.3.

      The guest may consult the Privacy Notice in force through Hotel Domani’s official channels.

  20. 20. Communications

    1. 20.1.

      The guest may receive communications related to their reservation through the contact details provided during the booking process.

    2. 20.2.

      These communications may include confirmations, arrival instructions, information about the stay, modifications, operational notices and requests related to the service.

  21. 21. Force majeure

    1. 21.1.

      Hotel Domani is not liable for failures to perform arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including, among others, natural phenomena, extraordinary weather conditions, acts of authority, emergencies, general utility outages or other force majeure events.

    2. 21.2.

      In such cases, the hotel will seek to offer the guest reasonable alternatives in line with the circumstances and the conditions of the reservation.

  22. 22. Right of admission and security

    1. 22.1.

      Hotel Domani may deny or limit access where there are objective grounds related to safety, capacity, breach of the lodging conditions or the protection of guests, staff and facilities.

    2. 22.2.

      Any such measure will be applied in accordance with current legislation and without discrimination.

  23. 23. Amendments to these Terms and Conditions

    1. 23.1.

      Hotel Domani may update these Terms and Conditions when necessary due to operational, commercial or legal changes.

    2. 23.2.

      Amendments apply to reservations made after they take effect, unless the applicable legislation provides otherwise.

  24. 24. Governing law

    1. 24.1.

      These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws applicable in the United Mexican States.

    2. 24.2.

      Any dispute related to the provision of the service will first be addressed through the available customer service and conciliation mechanisms.

    3. 24.3.

      The foregoing is without prejudice to the rights afforded to the consumer under applicable Mexican legislation.

Acceptance

By making a reservation, submitting the corresponding payment, checking in or using the facilities of Hotel Domani, the guest acknowledges having had access to these Terms and Conditions and accepts the provisions applicable to their stay.
